Alexander Hamilton, Federalist Papers No. 26
While this quote is directly related to how one conducts itself after a revolution to secure private rights with the energy of government it is also telling of doing the same thing multiple times expecting a different outcome which we see our government doing with a variety of issues. In it's most simplistic sense the quote is telling us to be careful when attempting to correct a wrong within the form of government we have and to be sure that it will enhance the system and not lead us down a path of continual change without results that actually improve the system.
