World War II and Beyond

Iwo Jima

There are many places to visit to understand and learn about the colonial history of America.  Exploring important sites from this era is essential for gaining a deep understanding of its history and context, as they offer valuable insights into the events, culture, and people of the time. Some places I have visited and others I have not, but I will blog about them when I do.

The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza

World War II Memorial (U.S. National Park Service)

Abandoned WWII Bunkers - Straits of Juan de Fuca

Marine Corps War Memorial

Eisenhower National Historic Site (U.S. National Park Service)

Nimitz Museum

USS Arizona Memorial/Pearl Harbor
